Bring essential personal items with you.
Card payments are generally available, but carrying some cash is advisable.
Banking/ATM facilities are available at Skukuza.

LIVING WITH WILDLIFE: Keep food and rubbish securely stored and never feed wildlife. Drive slowly and carefully – wildlife may cross the road without warning.
Observe all park speed limits: 50 km/h on tar roads, 40 km/h on gravel roads and 20 km/h in rest camps.
Never leave your vehicle except in designated areas.
Do not feed, approach or disturb animals.
Keep windows closed when appropriate and never attempt to attract wildlife for photographs.

🌙 AFTER DARK
Once the sun goes down, the bush becomes very dark. Do not walk around outside designated areas unless specifically permitted. Use a torch and follow accommodation and park instructions.

Bring any personal medication you require.
A torch or headlamp is useful after dark

GATE & PARK TIMES
Gate opening and closing times vary seasonally. In September, entrance gates open at 06:00 and close at 18:00.
